Happy eggster! We hope you all had a good one and used this as another excuse to stuff yourselves silly ☺. We’re stoked to announce that we’ve been invited to perform on Recharged Radio’s stage at the Great Escape 2012 on the 10th May! We’ll also be heading to the Troubadour on the 17th May for an acoustic set. Keep tuned in for details.
Amongst great new gigs, we’re also starting to hear some tracks being finalized for the album and they’re sounding great! We can’t wait for you all to hear them. Congratulations to our bro Nathan (bassist) who recently tied the knot! All the best mate. Also a quick thanks to AiirRadio for playing our music and FWDSound for having us at number 1 and 4 on their chart 2 weeks in a row respectively!

We’ve been a busy bunch since our last gig at Nambucca. We rocked out at the Hoxton Underbelly last Tuesday as part of Big Sandwich Music’s first EP launch. Wicked bands, a great crowd and an awesome venue! East end, you’ve now seen the last of us ☺ We’ve seen mother’s day come and gone along with St. Patrick’s day as well, so we hope that the mums had a good one and that everyone else got very drunk! We’re busy finishing off the tracks for the album at the moment and they’re sounding hot indeed, we can’t wait for you all to hear them finished! Keep tuned in, stay well - CW

We’re getting back into the swing of things at camp CW with our first gig of the year on the horizon. We’re at the Proud Galleries in Camden on the 22nd of this month performing at 5pm as part of the ‘Festival of Live Music’ being put on by Success Express. Head here for all of the details.

The 10th's gig at the O2Academy in Islington was wicked! If you haven't seen the pics yet - check em out here.
We really enjoyed popping down to Brooklands radio a few Sundays ago where we spent the evening performing acoustic versions of songs that will be featured on the album. Here's 'Don't Look Down' from that session - enjoy! :)
Yesterday we also visited Christina Simone at ONfm to talk about all things Canvas Wall. Big thanks to ONfm & Christina and we'll let you know when the podcast is up :)

We're currently in the midst of preparing for our first music video which will accompany our second single, set for release in November. Canvas Wall are a fresh take on a mix of many genres, from blistering stadium rock, to head bopping indie pop, layering sharp interweaving melodies over banging riffs from a vacuum packed rhythm section, their songs sing of soul searching visions fuelled by a passion for life.
Forming in 2008, the band have travelled a constructive road ever since. Recording their first EP with Andy Macphearson (The Who, Eric Clapton, Buzzcocks) gained them radio play on XFM Malta, national radios across Finland and Total Rock Radio giving them guest appearances.
Canvas Wall will release their debut album in 2012 amongst a busy year of gigs adding to a catalogue world famous venues the band have already played, including the IndigO2, The 100 Club and many more.
Debut single 'Sooner or Later' and follow up 'Close to the Edge' mixed by Dann Pursey give a colourful idea of what to expect from the album!
